Axial fans move air parallel to the fan shaft and are commonly used where high airflow and low pressure are required. They are compact, energy-efficient and ideal for general ventilation.

Centrifugal fans move air at a 90-degree angle to the inlet, generating higher static pressure. They are widely used in dust collection systems, industrial exhaust systems, laboratories and HVAC applications.

The choice depends on your airflow requirements, system resistance and installation environment.
