Ventilation Solution for a 10,000 m² Raw Material Processing Workshop
28 Down-Discharge Roof Fans Helped Remove Accumulated Heat and Create a More Comfortable Working Environment
Project Overview
The project involved a 10,000 m² raw material processing workshop equipped with numerous CNC laser cutting machines.
During daily production, heat generated by the equipment and manufacturing processes accumulated inside the large workshop. Without sufficient exhaust ventilation, the indoor environment became hot and stuffy, especially during continuous operation.
The customer needed an effective ventilation solution that could continuously remove accumulated heat while maintaining low operating noise for a more comfortable workplace.

Facility: Raw Material Processing Workshop
Workshop Area: 10,000 m²
Main Equipment: CNC Laser Cutting Machines
Solution: Down-Discharge Roof Fans
Quantity: 28 Units
Performance per Unit: 10,000 CMH @ 300 Pa
Total Nominal Airflow: 280,000 CMH
Challenge
The main problem was not simply high indoor temperature—it was heat accumulation throughout a large industrial space.
With numerous CNC laser cutting machines operating inside the workshop, heat was continuously generated during production.
Without an effective exhaust system, hot air remained trapped inside the building, resulting in:

• Poor air circulation
• Continuous heat buildup
• A hot and stuffy working environment
• Reduced comfort for workers
• The need for ventilation without excessive additional noise

For a 10,000 m² workshop, the ventilation solution also needed to provide sufficient airflow across the facility rather than improving only isolated areas.
Our Solution
Based on the workshop size, operating conditions and ventilation requirements, we provided 28 down-discharge roof fans, each rated at:

10,000 CMH airflow @ 300 Pa static pressure

With 28 units operating across the workshop, the system provides a combined nominal airflow capacity of 280,000 CMH.

The roof-mounted arrangement allows accumulated hot air to be continuously extracted from the workshop, supporting more effective air exchange throughout the large production space.

Instead of allowing heat generated by the CNC equipment to remain trapped indoors, the ventilation system continuously removes hot air and helps fresh replacement air circulate through the building.

Another important consideration was noise.

Because the fans are intended for continuous operation in an active production environment, low-noise performance helps improve ventilation without creating unnecessary additional disturbance for workers.
Results
After the 28 roof fans were installed, the workshop achieved noticeably better ventilation.

Accumulated hot air could be discharged more effectively, improving overall air circulation and reducing the hot, stuffy feeling inside the production area.

For employees working around the CNC laser cutting equipment, this meant a more comfortable working environment, while the low operating noise of the fans helped maintain suitable conditions for daily production.
Key Results
Effective Heat Exhaust
Hot air generated by machinery and production processes can be continuously discharged from the workshop.

Improved Air Circulation
28 roof fans provide distributed ventilation across the 10,000 m² facility instead of concentrating airflow in only one area.

280,000 CMH Total Nominal Airflow
The system provides substantial exhaust capacity for this large industrial workshop.

Low-Noise Operation
The ventilation system can operate continuously without introducing excessive fan noise into the working environment.

Better Worker Comfort
Improved heat exhaust and air circulation create a fresher, less stuffy workplace for employees.
From a Hot Workshop to a Better Working Environment
Industrial ventilation is not simply about installing more fans.

The right solution requires matching airflow, static pressure, fan quantity and installation layout to the actual workshop conditions.

For this 10,000 m² raw material processing facility, 28 down-discharge roof fans provided the exhaust capacity needed to continuously remove accumulated heat while maintaining low-noise operation.

The result is a ventilation system designed not only to move air—but to create a more comfortable and practical production environment.

Replacing an Undersized Jet Fan with a High-Pressure Ventilation Solution for Long-Distance Air Delivery
    Project Overview
A coal mining customer was experiencing insufficient ventilation in an underground mine tunnel.
The existing system used a conventional jet fan. However, because fresh air needed to travel a considerable distance through the tunnel, the original fan could not generate enough pressure to maintain the required airflow at the far end of the ventilation route.

3 FRP Centrifugal Fans Connected to Stripping Towers for Corrosive Process Gas Handling
    Project Overview
An aluminum processing plant required three large centrifugal fans for its process ventilation and gas treatment system.

The fans were connected directly to stripping towers, where they needed to continuously move process air containing corrosive components through the treatment system.
This created two key requirements: the fans had to deliver the specified airflow against the resistance of the stripping towers and ductwork, while the materials exposed to the process gas had to provide suitable corrosion resistance.
